<p>CASA in Northern California needed a docu-promo video that would help raise awareness of what they do, and inspire people to donate their time and money. They wanted to convey feelings of warmth and connection. The footage they provided me contained lots of great natural moments between the orphans and their volunteer advocates. I enhanced the candid footage with analog film grain and light-leaks custom digitized from 16mm film stock.</p>

<p>As a local organization under California CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), <em>Advocates For Children</em> in San Mateo is raising awareness and funding for area foster youth.</p>
<p>They wanted me to edit a video that told the stories of 3 former foster youth who each had an advocate through their teen years. <p>The Reedley First Baptist Church works with an orphan school in Kenya, and had Monkeyraft Studios design and edit this documentary from the footage they brought back in 2008.</p>
<p>Presented by &#8220;When I Grow Up,&#8221; a &#8216;glocal&#8217; initiative to serve the social and spiritual needs of others both locally and globally.</p>
<p>Get to know Pauline, Moses, Bramwel, Jemimah, and Patrick &#8211; 5 orphans out of the 10,000 living in the Nairobi/Huruma area of Kenya.
