The International Community of Mennonite Brethren (ICOMB) is launching a worldwide campaign to share their mission and purpose, and grow their presence on the web. They are a subsidiary of Mennonite Brethren Mission and Service International (MBMSI).
They contracted with Monkeyraft Studios to create some 2.5D motion graphics for the promo, which was a lot of fun. Their in-house editor pulled together all the live footage, but the graphics had to match up to the precise frame, so as to give a seamless-segue feel from one live-action portion through the effects to the next.
This was before I migrated over to Adobe, so the graphics were done in Apple’s Motion. Next time I work with this type of thing, it will be in After Effects.
